The American Kidney Fund (AKF) is dedicated to ensuring that every kidney patient has access to health care, and that every person at risk for kidney disease is empowered to prevent it.
Last year, we provided financial assistance to 20 percent of the nation’s dialysis patients. Our grants in 2014 enabled more than 84,000 people in all 50 states to maintain their health insurance coverage and to afford other critical expenses related to obtaining life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Learn more about our accomplishments.
“The Power of Partnership,” the American Kidney Fund’s 2013 Annual Report, is now available online. The report details AKF’s accomplishments in helping people fight kidney disease and live healthier lives.
