Arthur H. “Buddy” Metcalf II, CPA, ABV, CFF

Buddy Metcalf is a member of the American Kidney Fund Board of Trustees and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. He also serves on the Public Support Committee.

Mr. Metcalf is founding shareholder at Metcalf Davis, providing services as a tax professional in a multitude of industries with a concentration in the firm’s legal profession group. With over 40 years’ experience, he is dedicated to making himself available as a resource to clients. As the backbone of Metcalf-Davis’ tax practice, his areas of expertise include real estate tax, international taxation, and accounting and tax for nonprofit organizations. He also leads the firm’s services to the legal profession specialty group and is frequently called upon as an expert witness in litigation matters, practice management issues related to law firms and business valuation/financial forensics. To support these services, Mr. Metcalf is accredited in business valuation (A.B.V.) and certified in financial forensics (C.F.F.) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

After graduating from Auburn University with a B.S. in business administration and a major in accounting, he became a CPA in 1973. Mr. Metcalf entered public accounting with an international accounting firm in Atlanta before founding his own CPA firm in 1978. He is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.

Mr. Metcalf and his wife, Jean, have two grown daughters and one granddaughter.
