Maureen N. Franco
Maureen Franco is a member of the American Kidney Fund Board (AKF) of Trustees and is a co-chair of the Communications and Marketing Committee and is also on the Public Support and HIPP Committees.
Ms. Franco is a biotechnology industry veteran with extensive product marketing and international market development experience. She was named CEO of Cambridge BioMarketing, the world’s leading orphan and specialty communications agency, in 2012. Prior to this she spent 12 years at Genzyme, now a Sanofi company, where she held a number of executive leadership roles in commercial development, product marketing, global brand management and product promotions. Her work has been focused on commercializing groundbreaking therapeutics in the chronic kidney disease and rare genetic disease markets. Ms. Franco began her career in health care public relations and pharmaceutical advertising. She holds a B.S. degree from Boston College.
