Nora Lee was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been involved with Technical Resources International (TRI) from its inception as secretary of the corporation and was later appointed as TRI's President & CEO and Chairman of the Board in 1990. Ms. Lee has defined the mission and strategic direction of TRI for over 15 years, spearheading the development of TRI's contract research organization status and expanding the company's social marketing and international trade activities.
Ms. Lee has more than 30 years of experience working with international development issues. Prior to joining TRI, she worked with the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Cotton Advisory Committee. Ms. Lee has a degree in general studies with a concentration in business/economics from American University and a national teacher's certification from Buenos Aires. She is fluent in Spanish, has advanced proficiency in French, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese.
Ms. Lee currently serves as the Treasurer of the American Kidney Fund (AKF) Board of Trustees. She is also Chair of the Finance Committee and serves on the Executive, Health Insurance Premium Program, Public Support, and Communications & Marketing Committees. |
