Sharon Pahlka has lived with kidney disease for over 30 years—19 on dialysis and the last 15 with a transplant. As a Certified Life Coach, she specializes in coaching people with chronic health challenges to fulfill their dreams (go to www.lifeisagift.com). Sharon also helps caregivers maximize their effectiveness, facilitates pre-dialysis education classes, speaks nationally, and writes for various publications. Sharon serves on the American Kidney Fund’s Board of Trustees and is on the Finance, MIKE, Patient Scholarship and Patient Services Committees. She enjoys adventure and travel, and is crazy about her grandsons. |
