Our region's first Steps that Count fundraising walk was held in October 2007 in Jersey City, NJ.

The American Kidney Fund's Northeast Regional Office opened in 2006 and is located in Melville, New York.

The Northeast Regional Office supports outreach, fundraising, and special events in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and all of New England. The Northeast region is supported by a group of dedicated volunteers.

Douglas Davidson is the Northeast Regional Director and manages the daily operations of the office.

As the Northeast Regional Office expands its operations, it seeks to build partnerships and participate in coalitions with representatives from the non-profit, religious, education, corporate and government sectors.
