American Kidney Fund and
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Partnership

The American Kidney Fund is proud to be a health charity organization of choice in a four-year partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated—the first Greek-lettered sorority established and incorporated by African American college women.

In this dynamic partnership, the American Kidney Fund joins more than 250,000 women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., to raise awareness of kidney disease and its risk factors through health and education-focused activities.

AKA Members Turn Out in Force in Atlanta

There was plenty of pink and green at the November 12 Kidney Action Day and Steps that Count walk in Atlanta! The Atlanta Metro Chapters provided volunteers as well as raising funds for our Steps that Count walkathon. Many AKA members also took advantage of the free health screenings available that day. The American Kidney Fund is deeply grateful for such a strong show of support and we look forward to meeting many more AKA members at upcoming events! Watch a slideshow of the event.

Be a Part of Steps that Count
