Be a Charity Champion: Start a Workplace Giving Program
You can create and promote an annual giving campaign in your workplace. We'll help you to be successful.

- Plan a campaign Kick-Off Event - employees will be able to learn more about AKF's programs and services
Employees: As your organization's Charity Champion, you:
- Initiate - talk to your human resources department about the advantages of starting a giving campaign
- Set campaign goals - entice others to contribute by setting a fundraising goal
- Spread the word - share the benefits of your company's new workplace giving options with others
- Promote - invite your fellow co-workers to attend an annual Kick-Off Event
Employers:
- Support - have company leaders visibly support and endorse your workplace giving program
- Designate a Charity Champion - this charity advocate is an enthusiastic employee who will be the driving force and primary contact for the giving campaign
- Communicate - use newsletters, emails and staff meetings to clearly explain the purpose and goals of your giving campaign
- Stimulate Participation & Growth - encourage your employees to contribute by matching their workplace giving contribution

- Create a new deduction slot in your payroll system for charity giving
- Forward contributions to AKF quarterly or annually
