The American Kidney Fund's Advocacy network brings together individuals living with chronic kidney disease, people who are on dialysis, transplant recipients, friends and family members of kidney patients, caregivers and health professionals to raise awareness of kidney disease among our elected officials. Their voices make a positive difference in the lives of all those living with, or at risk for developing, kidney disease.
Keeping policy makers and regulators informed is crucial to the fight against kidney disease. AKF Advocates stay informed about important policy issues and our advocacy efforts. They give kidney patients and their families a powerful voice in Washington, D.C.
