Now in its 14th year, Calendar Kids is a nationwide art contest for children who are living with kidney disease. AKF chose 13 winners whose drawings will illustrate the American Kidney Fund calendar. Winners received a trip to Washington, D.C. where they participated in a fun-filled weekend, tour the nation’s capital, and were honored during an awards dinner. The Calendar Kids Program is sponsored by Amgen.
Calendars are available at the AKF Store. All proceeds from the calendars will directly support the programs and services of the American Kidney Fund, including vital financial assistance to kidney patients who are in need and programs for children with kidney disease.
Congratulations to the 2009-2010 winners!

About the Contest
If you're 18 or younger, have kidney disease, and live in the United States, you are eligible to enter our national art contest. We choose 13 winners whose drawings will illustrate our American Kidney Fund calendar, which is distributed nationwide. Not only will your drawing appear in our calendar - but you will also win a trip to Washington, DC! During this fun-filled weekend, you'll tour the city, make friends with the other contest winners, and be honored during an awards dinner. The American Kidney Fund will be accepting new applications starting January 2010. Look out for more updates on the Calendar Kids!
