Our 2011 Calendar Kids’ Art Contest Cover Winner
More than 3,600 people nationwide cast their votes last year to decide which work of art by a child with kidney disease would grace the cover of the American Kidney Fund’s 2012 wall calendar. The young artist who received the greatest number of votes was Danielle Long, 13, of Hendersonville, TN. Danielle’s drawing is a vivid depiction of the holiday she loves the most: Halloween. The colorful pumpkin and moth are decorated with the American Kidney Fund’s circular logo.
