The Votes Are In! New Jersey Six-Year-Old Wins Cover Art Contest
Nearly 6,000 people voted to select the cover art for the American Kidney Fund’s 2013 calendar from among the 13 talented winners of this year’s Calendar Kids Art Contest. Thank you to everyone who voted!

Amelia Rowniewski, a six-year-old from Wallington, N.J., received the most votes for her entry, which she calls “All Things Are Possible.” Amelia, who is living with a kidney transplant, drew a detailed depiction of the nursery rhyme “Hey Diddle Diddle,” complete with a cat with a fiddle, a cow jumping over the moon, a little dog laughing, and a dish running away with a spoon.
Congratulations to Amelia, who will be an honored guest at the American Kidney Fund’s annual gala, The Hope Affair, in Washington, D.C., on October 17, 2012.
And congratulations to the other winners of the Calendar Kids Art Contest, whose work will appear throughout our 2013 calendar.
