Through a partnership with Genzyme Corporation, Renagel® and all formulations of Hectorol®  are available to financially qualified dialysis patients who have no coverage. The American Kidney Fund administers both programs which are made possible by a generous product donation from Genzyme.

The Hectorol®  (doxercalciferol) Patient Assistance Program provides 2.5 mcg, 0.5 mcg capsules and ampules. The Renagel®  (sevelamer hydrochloride) Patient Assistance Program provides Renagel 800 mg tablets. Both programs offer up to a four-month supply to eligible patients. If necessary, patients may reapply at the end of their grant period.

One application allows you to apply for the Hectorol®  Patient Assistance Program, Renagel®  Patient Assistance Program or to both programs. Applications for both programs are accepted on a rolling basis, throughout the year.
