About the Calendar Kids Program
The Calendar Kids Program provides an opportunity for pediatric patients to express themselves through artwork and to receive national recognition while increasing awareness of kidney disease throughout the United States. The program is supported by an educational donation provided by Amgen.
Help Us Select the Cover of Our 2015 Calendar!
Artwork created by 13 children living with kidney disease or kidney failure will appear in our 2015 calendar. Help us select the cover art by voting for your favorite! All winners will receive a gift card and a laptop to help with their schoolwork. The cover art winner will also win a trip to Washington, D.C., to be recognized during the American Kidney Fund’s annual gala, The Hope Affair, this fall.

Learn About Our 2014 Calendar Kids Cover Artist
Jonathan Rivera Gómez from Puerto Rico is this year's calendar cover artist winner.
Jonathan’s drawing is titled "La mano de Dios entregándome los riñones (The Hand of God Giving Me Kidneys)." The piece features a colorful seaside motif with the hands of God holding a smiling person with kidneys. Completing the scene are a cabin, an angel, crab and a leaping dolphin.
The Calendar Kids program is supported by an educational grant provided by Amgen.
