Help Us Choose the Cover for Our 2016 Calendar!

Thirteen talented young artists living with kidney disease are winners in the American Kidney Fund's 20th annual Calendar Kids Art Contest, but only one will have his or her artwork on the cover. That’s where you come in—vote for your favorite! The artwork that receives the most votes in our online contest will grace the cover of our 2016 calendar.

The young artist who wins the cover contest will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to be honored at AKF’s annual gala, The Hope Affair, this fall. All 13 children who have been named finalists will have their artwork published in the 2016 calendar and will receive a gift card.

Voting ends on March 31

Learn About Last Year's Cover Art Winner

More than 4,200 people voted to select the cover art for the American Kidney Fund’s 2015 calendar from among the 13 talented winners of this year’s Calendar Kids Art Contest. Thank you to everyone who voted!

Madison Gordon, 18, from Goldbar, Wash., received the most votes for her entry, which she calls “Love Life.” Her drawing was inspired on a particularly tough day at dialysis; she was surprised to see her dialysis tubing had formed itself into the shape of a heart.

Congratulations to Madison, who was an honored guest at the American Kidney Fund’s annual gala, The Hope Affair, in Washington, D.C., in October 2014.

And congratulations to the other winners of the Calendar Kids Art Contest, whose work appears throughout our 2015 calendar.

The Calendar Kids program is partially supported by an educational grant provided by Amgen.
