How to Apply for a Safety Net Grant

Dialysis center social workers may submit Safety Net Grant applications for their patients to the American Kidney Fund.

The American Kidney Fund does not accept applications directly from patients.

If you are a patient who is in need of a Safety Net Grant to help with treatment-related expenses not covered by insurance, speak with your social worker.

All applications must be submitted online via our Grants Managements System (GMS).  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our Patient Services Department at 1-800-795-3226.
