Delphine Tuot, M.D. is interested in awareness and education surrounding CKD, particularly as it pertains to vulnerable populations and their health care providers. As an American Kidney Fund-Amgen CSN Clinical Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, Dr. Tuot’s research will determine whether patient awareness of CKD is associated with greater application of evidence-based medical regimens in a nationally representative sample. Additionally, her study will seek to determine concordance between physician recognition and patient awareness of CKD in clinical settings with diverse patients in the San Francisco Bay area.
Dr. Tuot has a Bachelors Degree in Biology, MCR from Stanford University, Masters of Clinical Research from McGill University, and is a Nephrology Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco. |
