Course Goal
Increase CKD screening within high-risk groups.
Course Objectives After completing the online course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the demographics of the CKD population.
- List the medical interventions needed to prevent or slow the progression of CKD.
- Identify complications associated with the progression of CKD.
- Recognize the importance of early referral to a nephrologist.

- Physician Assistants

Accreditation Physician This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 1.5 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians. AAFP accreditation begins 08/18/08. Term of approval is for two-years from this date, with option for yearly renewal.
Physician Assistant AAPA accepts Category I credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA Category I CME credit for the PRA from organizations accredited by ACCME.
