The Virtual Walk is a great way to join in the fight to prevent kidney disease. It can take place anytime, anywhere. You may choose to walk around your community, in a local park, indoors at a mall or even on a treadmill at a gym! Your Virtual Walk is a reflection of you, and is as personal as your reasons for joining the fight to prevent kidney disease. Added bonus: walking is great for your health!
The Virtual Walk is part of the American Kidney Fund’s national campaign, Pair Up: Join the Fight to Prevent Kidney Disease.
Your Virtual Walk can be as short or long as you like, depending on your comfort and fitness level. Looking for some ideas of how to make your Virtual Walk fun? Check out this page.

A team captain organizes and motivates a group of people to participate together in the Virtual Walk. Team Captains are responsible for recruiting people to join their team, naming their team, setting a team fundraising goal, and communicating with and encouraging their team members. Being a team captain is an important and rewarding task. By Pairing Up with family, friends and co-workers to join your team, you are increasing awareness and supporting programs that will help kidney patients who depend on the American Kidney Fund.
