Lisa A. Robin

Lisa Robin is the Chief Advocacy Officer for the Federation of State Medical Boards and oversees the FSMB's Washington, D.C office. During her tenure at the FSMB, Robin has been active in policy analysis, development and promulgation on issues including health regulatory board authority and structure, medical license portability, telemedicine, opioid prescribing and addiction policy, medical marijuana, and physician health and wellness.  She represents the position of the FSMB and state medical boards to the U.S. Congress and the Administration.  She also assists individual medical boards achieve their state legislative agendas.

Robin oversees the FSMB's education services, federal and state legislative and policy services, communications and public affairs, as well as providing support for the FSMB Research and Education Foundation and its grant programs.

She is project officer for a federal grant from the HRSA Office of Rural Health, Office for the Advancement of Telehealth, License Portability Grant Program. Robin earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
