Michael William Flood

Mike Flood is a managing director at Northleaf Capital Partners, a global private markets investment firm with more than $18 billion of private equity, private credit and infrastructure commitments under management. Northleaf's 160+ person team is located in Toronto, Chicago, London, Melbourne, Menlo Park, Montreal and New York. Northleaf's clients include corporate, public and multi-employer pension and benefit plans, endowments, foundations, government agencies, financial institutions and family offices.

Flood leads Northleaf's global private equity strategy and investment team and is a member of the firm's investment and management committees and board of directors. In addition, he is involved in Northleaf's investor relations and business development activities. From 2006 to 2012, he led the successful opening, establishment and growth of the firm's office in London.

Prior to joining Northleaf's predecessor, TD Capital, in 2001, Flood worked at Harrowston Inc., a publicly traded private equity group, where he was involved in building its platform companies, as well as assessing and investing in a number of new investment opportunities. Previously, he worked at Royal Bank Capital Partners, the private equity group of the Royal Bank of Canada.

He holds a B.A. from Queen's University, an M.Sc. from Indiana University and an MBA from Ivey Business School, Western University.
