The transplant evaluation, waiting list, and more – how to prepare for a kidney transplant

kidney transplant
Kidney transplant is considered the best treatment option for people facing kidney failure. But preparing for a kidney transplant is a lot of work. You have to choose a transplant center (or centers), have a complete health evaluation by doctors, and find a kidney donor match, and/or join the kidney transplant waiting list. All of this takes time, effort, and lots of planning. In recognition of Donate Life Month, our April webinar will shine light on this important topic. Our speakers will walk us through the steps it takes to have a successful kidney transplant.

Our speakers will cover:

  • Considerations for choosing a transplant center (or centers)
  • The transplant evaluation process
  • Steps for getting on the kidney transplant waiting list
