Taylor Schafbuch, CPA

Taylor is a mission-driven nonprofit leader and Certified Public Accountant with over a decade serving the nonprofit sector. She is currently the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Controller at The Colorado Trust, a private foundation dedicated to achieving health equity for all Coloradans, particularly under-resourced communities who have been historically and systemically disadvantaged. She previously held finance roles at Catholic Charities USA, the USO, and CLA where she began her career in public accounting providing audit and tax services to nonprofit clients. Her experience and expertise include financial reporting and oversight, investment and endowment management, budgeting, and compliance.

Taylor received her BBA degree in accounting and finance from the University of Iowa. She is an active member of her community in Denver. She currently serves as board member and treasurer of Transformative Justice Project of Colorado and is on the steering committee of the Foundation Finance Group of Philanthropy Colorado.
