Understanding and managing IgA Nephropathy (IgAN)

Download the IgA nephropathy (IgAN) guidelines

IgA nephropathy (IgAN) is a rare kidney disease that can happen when the immune system makes too much of an antibody called IgA. Over time, IgA can build up in the kidneys and cause damage. While there is no cure for IgAN, experts made guidelines to help you and your doctor understand your treatment options and create a care plan. This guide summarizes those recommendations to help you work with your health care team to manage IgAN.
