Everyone feels anxious now and then, and feeling this way is a normal part of life. But for kidney patients, especially those on dialysis, anxiety can be overwhelming or simply make life more difficult than it needs to be. This type of ongoing, persistent anxiety will not just go away on its own and can be very disruptive to daily activities and mood.

With the right help, anxiety can be treated. And the first step is recognizing it. Chasity Shugart, a licensed clinical social worker, will discuss how to identify anxiety and better manage negative, anxious, feelings.

Join this webinar to learn more about:

  • How anxiety happens
  • What anxiety can look and feel like in a person's life
  • How anxiety can affect quality of life for kidney patients who are pre-dialysis, on dialysis, and preparing for transplant
  • Tips and resources to fight and overcome anxiety
