Barron S. Wall, ARM, PMCManaging Associate / Principal of ICA Risk Management Consultants
As the Managing Associate of ICA since 1981, Barron Wall oversees the activities of the firm and provides thought leadership in tailoring consulting services to ICA's 400 diverse domestic and international clients. Under Barron's leadership, the organization, comprising legal, accounting and risk management professionals, has grown both in the scope of services it offers as well as in the range of clients it serves since its inception in 1956. ICA is one of the founding risk management consulting firms in the United States that does not sell insurance and acts only as outside advisors to organizations by providing a full complement of services to its clients. The depth of ICA's services has allowed professionals in the industry to refer to ICA as "the gold standard of risk management consulting firms".
Barron received a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University and he holds his Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Institutes Risk and Insurance Knowledge Group. He served as a Director of the Society of Risk Management Consultants and President of the former Insurance Consultants Society. He is also a member of the Risk Management Consultants of Ontario, Canada. Barron is both a lecturer and author on many insurance and risk management topics as well as an expert witness in the industry. Barron served as the President of the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Ramapo College. Barron is a member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
Barron also focuses his efforts on two of his many passions: health and education-driven philanthropy. Barron serves as a friend and benefactor to charities that protect and educate children and women and is currently funding the construction of a birthing hospital in Uganda. He provides financial support to students from military families seeking university degrees, whose parent has sacrificed their life for our country.
Barron's devotion to endangered species and wildlife preservation is evidenced by one of his proudest achievements: his contribution to building the Charles Goldberg African Wildlife Foundation Bonobo Research Center located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in honor of his late grandfather who inspired Barron's love of wildlife.
Barron resides in the New York metropolitan area and is currently working on a fictional novel that he hopes will eclipse Harry Potter as the world's new favorite fantasy adventure.
