It is important to learn your risk, and to be tested.

Elaine Ku

Dr. Ku is an Assistant Professor at the University of California San Francisco in the Divisions of Nephrology and Pediatric Nephrology. She is also Director of the Nephrology Transition Clinic, which focuses on helping adolescents and young adults transition to adult care. Dr. Ku sees kidney transplant and chronic kidney disease patients in her clinic. Her research is focused on modifiable cardiovascular risk factors in kidney disease patients, and disparities in CKD and ESRD outcomes in children versus adults.
