Enter the 28th Annual Calendar Kids Art Contest

Enter the American Kidney Fund's Annual Calendar Kids Art Contest! 13 finalists will be selected to be published in the American Kidney Fund's 2024 calendar and will also receive a cash prize and a canvas print of their submitted artwork.  The cover artists will have their artwork published on the cover of the 2024 calendar and will be honored at the American Kidney Fund's annual national gala, The Hope Affair, on October 19, 2023.

Frequently asked questions

How is the cover artist chosen?

AKF will choose 13 submissions to appear in the calendar and will have an online voting contest in July.  The artwork that receives the most votes will be featured on the cover.

What is the deadline to submit my application and artwork?

We must receive all artwork and completed applications by June 1, 2023.

What is the timeline of this contest?

  • Applications Open : March 1st

  • Deadline for Applications : June 1st

  • AKF voting for Finalists : June 7th

  • Finalists Announced : July 3rd

  • Voting Opens : July 3rd

  • Last Day to Vote : July 31st

  • Cover Artist Announced : August 4th
